I believe Brandywine will sell you one for $199--at least that's what I paid not long ago.

B-Wine will NOT sell for $199. They were the first one's I called since I have spent thousands with them over the years. Justin's best price was still only $229.

Anyone here with the B&M test drive a 997 or a 987 yet? These have the Porsche SSK, which reportedly is just a re-branded B&M. I'm trying to get as accurate a comparison as I can. I like the standard throw of my 996, but I like the short throw of the 987/997 better. I'd hate to get the B&M, only to find out its's not the same as the 997 SSK and not like it.. Sorta like the enemy of good is better, know what I mean?

I guess the corollary to the question is, if I don't like it, can I put the stock one back?

You can put the stock one back.....I kept mine in case though should ever happen (which I doubt). You can either use the B&M bushing or go buy new Porsche ones since you cut the old ones out during the B&M install.

What is the real difference between the OEM and B&M? Any advantage to either?

One says Porsche made by B&M the other says B&M. Porsche gets to charge you more for theirs though
