You have to rub it out - otherwise it leaves a dust- attracting greasy sheen as you've experienced .

Gummyfledge iI believe is made by Z1 and should still be available from any detailing products site. As far as aerospace 303 it usually availabile at any place you can find vinylex, pep boys etc.
