there is an excellent independent shop here, where they work on Porsche's and Audi's exclusively...been in business over 20 years, and many locals swear by them. I called Porsche to find out their position on such a facility....the quote was, "it will not affect your warranty, unless a warrantee issue comes up that can be directly linked to the service performed at such a shop."
sounds a bit like Richard Nixon's "non-denial denial."
Do any of you use independent shops, even though you're still under warrantee?
