Keep in mind dealers are notorious for putting insanely high prices on used cars, knowing they can negotiate so something then sounds like a great discount. Also, I think their claim that they gave 58K in trade for the car is either BS or they made a pile of dough on the new car they sold the dentist. Not saying 59K is not an OK price, just my take on the dealer's game.

Jim - I did see the $58K trade in price unfortunately don't remember how much they charged him for his C4S Cabrio if I remember correctly but something in the $87K range...
The thing which troubles me is the vehicle was traded back in August and it had according to carfax 27,700 miles approx at that time. Between August and today it got 1300miles which i think is a lot more than "test drives"...
bottom line is that I feel $58K is not even an OK price for the mileage.... but that maybe me - the 997 Convertible is in the $85K range... why would a 3 year old end of line with 30,000 miles go for 2/3 of new price??
