Does anyone know anything about REPSOL synthetic oils? A friend who has his own part distribution business says it a "purer" oil. Is this BS or does it have some basis in fact? He's got some 5w 40 that he thinks is suitable for my 99 996.What do you guys think?

If the Repsol is rated ACEA A3 then it is suitable. There are a couple of Repsol oils listed on the approved oils list.
