Default Climate Control question

I need help identifying the porsche part number for the faceplate that is used when you relocate the Temp control unit from the uppermost position in the dash to the bottom of the console (just under the open tray at the base of the radio/cd holder rack). The porsche dealer cannot seem to confirm that this can even be done and only comes up with a part number that (from the picture) appears to be a replacemnt for the original factory location.

I have seen this mod on several cars (on Rennlist as well as ebay) but can't find anyone who can tell me what the replacement part number is.

Can anyone help me with this part number?

The part number is 996 552 339 00 01C (at least this was the number for my '04 996). Less than $5. This is the standard black plastic trim. Other trims are available.

Chris - if you have any trouble, email me. We offer factory parts, painted or unpainted, if you cannot locate what you need.

Thanks.
