No lug BOLTS, though, which is what the TT or my C4S would need.

The dealer replaced mine just as the 4th year was up -- they are real junk!

Mine came from the factory with spacers and lug nuts/studs on the rear. I ordered the sport technology wheels. My fronts still use bolts.

Default 914 lug bolts?

The lug bolts are noted for a 914. Does the set for 175 actually fit a 996 C4S as well? That is a good price if so.

2004 TSB # 3/04, 4407, authorizes the use of weight reduced 14.5mm(head lenght, not socket size) vise the standard 16.5mm. The part nos is 996-361-203-02. Only applies to 996/996C4/ and 996 GT3.

Tool Pants:

Thanks. Yes, I need to replace the wheel bolts then. The key I was referring to is the ignition key, not the wheel lock key. I think I figured it out. I'll call one of the supporting vendors next week when I return home from vacation.

Hi Bill,

The ones on the rennlist direct page are for the 914/Cayenne. I can get the ones designed for the 996 from Ralph Boothe and sell them to you at the same price if you are interested. Except if you need the 46mm ones then I could only sell them to you for about $190 for a set of 20. I would just want to confirm what size you need before ordering. <I'm not a 996 expert! >

Please note that it takes me about 5-7 days to order and receive product from Ralph...

HTH,

Jennifer

I bought mine for $50 on ebay with locking nuts, Porsche OEM new. Most of the auctions I saw were around $100, I just lucked out and was the only bidder. My old one had gotten very rusty. No more wheel cleaners for me now, I just use soap and water. I have seen about a dozen sets sold by the same seller, seems like about once or twice a month.
