Default Please help with price evaluation 99 C2 cab

I am looking to trade in my 03 4runner at a local dealer for a 99 C2. The trade in price he offers is between wholesale and retail plus I save about $ 6,000 on taxes when I trade in compared to outright purchase. So it's quite attractive.

He is offering me a 99 C2 silver/black convertible with 20,000 miles. I am trying to find out what options and production date the car is but I have to make a commitment when I get this information today. What do you think the car is worth?

Well Being from Canada , l think i can tell you what i have saw In Toronto. Last week I came across a very LOW k 1999 c2 Cab ( 22,000 k). It was Polar silver , with Met Blue int and roof. Had very good options like:
Zenon lights
Sport seats
18" Turbo wheels
HIFI sound
Alum Shifter and E-brake
Hard Top
Sport Exhaust

6 Speed car....and some others i can not recall at this time

I could have bought the car for....Are you sitting down$ 51,000.00 CND. For our Frinds in the good ol US of A it converts to: around $41,000. And thats what the guy was asking for ,didnt even try to start to talk him down.

The car is a 6/99 production, 18 inch crested wheels (?), hardtop, CD changer and is in excellent condition. No Xenon lights and no PSM. They couldn't give me the final price yet but it will probably be in the 54 K (43,5 American) area. Sounds a little bit high to me, so it all depends on the trade in value and the tax credit for my Toyota 4runner.

I just bought a '99 996 coupe tip with 35K miles, 2/99 production. It came with 40 months remaining on a Warrantech extended warranty (and 60K miles left but non-transferrable from me). It has the following stuff:

Arctic Silver Metallic, all records, on-board computer, full leather, crested 18" Turbo Twists, brand new rear rotors and pads (replaced per pre-buy inspection), repaired oil separator boot (found leak at pre-buy inspection), traction control, Porsche 6-cd changer, Porsche "hi-fi" stereo, full leather, sport leather steering wheel, B&B sport muffler with polished stainless steel tips, K&N air filter. SoCal dealer maintained since new. $43,400 from private party. It was $79,600 per sticker when delivered new in 5/99.

Good luck with your search. The one option I wish mine had is the M030 sport suspension - Option Code 030.
