DAMN IT!! The shop I picked only has to replace the following:

Paint & replace front nose (provided by me)
Underpans (from mid section)
Place the front spoiler

Thats it! And they have had it for 2 weeks!!! So I call the place adn ask for my rep. "He is out sick". Okay, no problem, I say. Who is handling his accounts? "No one," she replied. "What! So, I can't get my car?" No, she says.

This is rather f*cked up IMO. I saw the nose, and as of Tuesday, they were only waiting for the front spoiler and one underpan to come in. Sheesh, I got the nose in 3 days. What the hell?? RRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Waiting patiently for Monday.

The majority of these shops are all the same, they don't seem to give a crap about inconvienencing the customer.

 

Sheesh...I could get the parts faster, IMO. They should have asked. When I got the nose in a couple days, the guy said "wow, that was pretty fast. How'd you do that?" Like it was magic or something... I pray to the Porsche-gods. Tomorrow would be great.

2 weeks is kind of long for that work, 1 week is more practical.

 

I usually supply all the parts to the shop before hand to avoid such crap.

 

Lesson learned.

Same here. Where I had the GT3 kit put on my 996 I went by with the car to verify paint color match then came back when the parts were ready for install. 1 day later, I got my car back.
