Default Under-seat trim on passenger side?

There's a plastic strip along the bottom of my driver-side seat that appears to be designed to prevent stuff on the floor from rolling underneath the seat. On the passenger side, this strip is strangely absent and I can reach underneath the seat to an uncarpeted bin-like area. Am I missing a trim piece here? This is on a 2001 C2 with power seats.

Thanks.

Mine 2000 006 C2, doesn't have the trim piece on passenger side either. I put some Wet Okele seat covers on this past weekend,,,xmas present,,,,It was much easier to get the straps through on that side. I figured the trim was put there for protection for all the electronics undr the driver seat, but just a giuess.

You should have one under the driver's seat. Check the trunk....that's where I put mine because I was tired of it falling off all the time.

I wonder if the driver's side plastic skirt could fit on the passenger side seat. If so, I may order another one to prevent things from rolling under the passenger seat. Very annoying when it happens.

Same on mine (04 tt) -- driver side has trim piece and passenger doesn't. I thought a piece was missing so I visited the dealer and stuck my hand under the passenger seat of another new tt, and same thing.
