Does anyone other than 9ff have carbon fiber mirrors. They want 900 just for the outside, no internals. My right plastic side is cracked. Anyone seen them on a black 996?

Clarification of availability and differences by model on the subject of third radiators:

1- All 996 (normally aspirated C2 and C4, non-S, non-X51) with tiptronic have a third radiator.
2- All C2 with X51 package factory installed have the same third radiator
3- All GT3s have that same third radiator as the above cars
4- All 996TTs, GT2s have a third radiator (different and larger than the above-mentioned radiator)
5- All C4S, 40 Jahre 996s have the same "side" radiators as the TT and GT2 but with no third radiator

The smaller (tiptronic) radiator can be fitted to all normally aspirated 996s that don;t have it but if you have a C4S or 40 Jahre 996 with the turbo radiators and you want to upgrade to a third radiator, your best best is to use the larger TT/GT2 third radiator although I doubt that anyone would really ever need that much cooling since the "side" radiators are bigger than the ones on any other 996.

Trust me guys, Chad needs no encouragement whatsoever. I'm afraid I'm "typhoid Mark" by letting him beat me in my autox-RX7 a few years ago and now he just won't stop! So get that POS back from the shop and start taking it apart, like any self-respecting Porsche owner!

That's a true story!! Mark let me drive his RX-7 to the local SCCA / Peachstate Region AutoX. First, he runs. Then I run. I was faster He runs again, and promptly DNF's. I run again and get another fast time. He runs again and DNF's.

I love that story.

Mark doesn't. Though, he IS responsible for festering this disease. Since then I have had 6 different sports cars. 4 of them being Porsches.

EDIT: By the way "letting" me win...um, no. Mark didn't talk to me for a week after that.
