Has anyone had to replace the LCD display for the heater and fan? The section that displays the fan speed and location is broken and bleeding into the whole display. I mocked up a pic (not my car) to show you what it looks like. Please excuse the poor MS paint picture, but it does look very similar to this.
Do any of you know if I can buy just the display or do I need a whole new unit? Everything works fine, it's just that soon you won't be able to tell what it says.

I had a similar problem; fortunately it failed while still under warranty.

Had the same probem. I was told it couldn't be fixed. I was quoted about $700 for a new unit. Paid $250 for one from a junk yard. Works/looks great. Just four screws & one connector.

I took the old one apart since it was scrap anyway. There is a grid of hairlike wires on the edge of the left & right of the screen. It seems that they were broken/arcing together to create that look
