To me, adjustability is great for setting the drop link angle at ride height, but more importantly for 'zeroing' the ARB's, at ride height, level ground. Not much advantage to corner balancing and having ARB preload fighting the corner balance, FWIW.
Since the 996, most 993's (rearARB) have straight links, as they are only loaded in compression and tension, I dont see it being that compliant. Otherwise, Porsche would definitely have 'beefed' them up. IMHO..
