Default bulbs out?

I noticed my drivers side high beam was out. I replaced bulb today, and then noticed the low beam and fog was out on the same side. The low beam was working yesterday. I assume the fog was working but i do not routinely put them on. The low output from the fog works with the low beam switched on and the low output parking light works. So my question is, is this just coincidental that my low beam failed today after i pulled out the assembly, as well as the fog, or is this something i should have checked from an electrical standpoint? I did put the bad high beam bulb back in, and the fog and low stayed out. The high does work currently. Today's temp was around 20degrees this am. BTW, these are halogen bulbs, not xenon. I am thinking that i should get a new low and fog bulb, but these things are pretty pricey is it turns out to be some electrical thing?

Thanks,

Jeff
