Be prepared to deal with things such as:

1- stolen valve caps,
2- scratches,
3- dumb questions and looks,
4- ugly girls,
5- a very long wait just to take your car out of the show,
6- more dumb questions and looks,
7- did I mention ugly girls?

My brother in law did his friend a "favour" and let his friend use his GTI in a few of these "shows" last year. It was a nightmare for him for all of the above mentioned reasons and more. I hope you have a lot of patience.

Dead, do you have PSE on your ride, looks good!
DJ996 on this board is practically giving away a set for a 3.4L. PM him if you're interested.

Few pictures of wing on cab, I know they are lousy because the guy took them at night but these are the only one I have of the wing on a cab. I will have better pictures next week.

Let me just clarify something my name is Misha and company is 996Wings and I have absolutely no association with Mike and MAshaw.

Misha,

You're killing me dude! Damn that looks good! I have decided not to get a wing for my cab but now I am starting to rethink my decision. Can I make one more photo request -- could you please post a closeup picture of the vents in the decklid? I really like the "scoops" in the Ruf RGT rear wing (I have the Ruf RGT front bumper and side skirts) but that wing was designed for the coupe and would interfere with the convertible top. Weissach told me I could make it work by cutting about an inch off the stands but I am not sure how that would look. Your wing looks like it is just what I need (want). Thanks.

Thanks Kirby. One of the criticisms about the 996 cabriolet is the high "bulge" in the back when the top is down. It doesn't really bother me since I like the fastback rear. Anyway, I think the wing addresses the "bulge" issue. It looks good.

Does the wing include the decklid or does it fit onto the decklid?
I can't tell from the photos but I see a c4s decklid which means its wide and bevelled (like the lights).

Berny

It just replaces the movinf OEM Spoiler. So it will fit any 996..wide or narrow body, cab or not.

The wing bolts-on to either C2 decklid or C4S decklid.

Hmmm.......damn......you got me fumblin in me wallet again Kirb.

I guess the issue now is how much and don't forget shipping to the UK. Maybe cheaper for
me to go with Gert from here.....plus I am on a trip to Belgium in Jan for a replacement gearbox.
