personally i don't like any of these "gullwing" or "lambo" wannabe conversions because the doors go too far out and not straight up like the lambo or straight sideways hinged at the roof like the gullwing (300SL for instance).

the only really good conversion that i've ever seen was by RE Amemiya for 3rd genereation RX-7's. Cost was 10,000$ (not sure if it was per door or not) but they modified everything properly (a pillar, hinges etc..) so that the doors went right up like a lambo (they were even motorized).

I simply can't imagine how they could add 1/4 million dollars to the cost of the original car. Even if they are all new body panels......
I'd have to take my $ to Mr. RUF instead.

The doors don't add much dollar cost to the car. But a 600hp RUF conversion sure as hell does!
