Greetings
I just bought a FM modulator that allows me to play my IPOD by just pluging in to the 12volt socket and tuning the radio and fm modulator to the same station. It comes right through the Bose system and is controlled by the radio.

I think he's talking about the Monster FM Modulator since that one comes with a car charger. In either case, iTrip or Monster, the capability is very limited. I've tried both and they were equally useless in NYC, Jersey, Boston, and Austin (I've moved around quite a bit in the last 3 years). Any place with a high population of radio signals and the FM Modulator just stinks. This winter I'm moving up to the Alpine iPod interface. Gonna do what I should have done a while back and hardwire my iPod, and replace the whole CDR23/MOST fiasco that Porsche gave me.

pDutta---good luck planning on an interface coming anytime soon! I too have been waiting all year for a way to use my Ipod in an '04 MOST equipped car. The Dension's Ice>Link would be the most effective, but they keep promising since last August, and have not delivered. Now their ETA is Chrstmas....As far as Alpine, I don't really want a new head unit and speakers etc. Every modulator I've tried was pathetic, as I live in the NYC area with lots of stations all over the spectrum.

I'm glad it works for you.
Depending on what part of town I am, my iPod may or may not sound "good," which is unfortunate. It's much easier to use the iPod though then burn a bunch of CDs.
I would like a digital option though.
