parked my car in a garage last night and, when i got back, found that i had lost the key somewhere along the way. luckily also had the valet key, so i could get home.

what's the course of action when this happens? do i just call the dealer tomorrow and order another? cost?

Your existing keys and if you buy a replacement key, can all be recoded so that if someone shows up with your missing key it will not start the car.
