Does anyone have evr installed a MP3 Monza becker stereo in a 996, because I bought one and try it in trhee different 996 cars and I got no sound at all??? all the wiring is exactly like any OEM stereo...any ideas??

it should fit in all 996's that are model year 2002 or older

If you have the HiFi or DSP sound system, then you need to change the trigger line for the amplifier. The amplifier expects the trigger from 6 in connetor C1, but the Monza uses that pin for a subwoofer output.

You need to change the wire from pin 6 at C1 to pin 5 at connector A.
