2 seperate amps, one for system and one for sub woofer. Sirius satellite receiver is in there too!

Sound is incredible...

I love my music, but when I am driving spirited I turn it off and listen to the sweet engine!

Best of both worlds!

 

Are you/they going to build a coverplate to protect your amp?

 

I have one already. It is carpeted to match and allows me to put stuff in there and hide it too!

Just a thought but won't the coverplate overheat the amp ?

Has not done so yet...I don't crank it to loud but if I did I for a long period I suppose it might ...

The cover plate is above the unit a bit so it allows air flow around it etc...I just lost some trunk space is all....Thats what the Escalade is for, hauling cargo and kids!!!

 

I have done the same thing but my cover plate has a couple of fans to keep the amp cool.
