WORST luck ever!!!
Years ago GM crushed an entire ship full of small trucks when they got "water damamged" during shipment. People were offering to buy them uncrushed as scrap, yet GM thought it more prudent to keep these things off the road forever, rather then have people bad mouth their product when one of the waterbabies started having the inevitable problems.
Unfortinatley your car now seems to be in the "waterbaby" catagory.

Quick update:
So I get a call from my insurance company yesterday and the adjuster says that most likely the car will get totaled (phew!) since their company policy states that if the water is over a certain level, it is considered unrepairable. Adjuster says that he is transferring the claim to a different dept and they will contact me in a few days. Hopefully, the are going to total it....and if they do, I hope I can get some decent money back.
What a nightmare! Just hope everything gets resoved properly. Thanks again for everyone's advise.
Check out the photo.....this was when the water had subsided a bit.....
