Default Leather Ignition Lock Rosette

One of the options on my 99 C2 cab is XJ4 which decodes as "Leather Ignition Lock Rosette". Does anyone know what this is? Also, I have several other codes beginning with X (XE9,XKC,XKH,XKN,XKS,XNW,XPC,XPX,XTK,X54,X66) that I cant decode with autopedia or kindel. Any help would be appreciated.

the ignition rosette is the oval shaped trim around the ign switch. Obviously it is leather covered. I bet the rest of the codes are other odd parts covered in leather. Those parts are usually in plastic, someone wanted more leather trim. It was a special order and maybe your interior has an odd color?

Thanks okbarnett, this car is loaded with wood trim and leather (dash included) but its not an odd color, plain old black. Do I need to check with the dealer on the other codes?

I dont know what all the codes are. But a dealer can look at the option codes for that year and model and find them. Probibly some are for wood and some leather.

Definately sounds like you got a car with "extended leather" which is sweet. I have seen these, lucky you. Enjoy the car.

can you post a pic of your interior? I'd like to see all that leather.
