I would think $500 to $1000 would be fair. Try pricing on ebay. As for install, call your dealer and ask.

I have heard that the retrofit is a real PAIN. Let us know what you find out.

Just as Tim said.....I heard this is a serious PITA!!! Try over at Renntech.org since it has been asked over there as well.

Should be a simple job. It is a dealer upgrade to retrofit nav system. I would think all the wiring is simple plug & play. Maybe they add a different wiring adapter or something. All thats missing is the gps antenna module. It should be in the dealers labor cost book . Thats why you can simply call them and ask. I removed the whole bose system and replaced with completely different system. There wasnt anything too mysterious in there.

As okbarnett said, it is a simple job. The only thing you will also need is the program code which you have to get from the dealer.

Yes, my dealer told me that the 03 and 04 radios have to be turned on by the dealer. (PS only radios in 03 and 04 are interchangable, you wouldnt be able to use them from previous years.) I dont know if its a code they will give away, or if they have to enter it with their computer, or if they would let you do it. Also you will need the inner bracket for the nav radio which is different from the regular radio bracket. Hopefully the guy would include that with the unit.
