I'm going to hard wire my Passport radar detector-- where is the best place to put it? I'd like to be more creative than merely suctioning it to the windshield or clipping it to the visor. Any opinions/experience/info is appreciated. Thanks.

Sell it and get a Passport SRX
Radar detector + Lidar jammer.

I put mine; pass visor and wire run under celing light console and wired to (brown I think, but not sure ) 12V + which feeds lights and sunroof.
