Question Would I be selling too cheap?

Someone has offered me 42k for my uncles car...
He wanted to get a bit more out of it but it is a solid offer. Do you all think I should accept the offer?
The car again is an '00 C2 Arena red with grey leather. 12500 miles. mint. Good amount of options....

Thanks,
Jeff

That is low for mileage..Color might be an issue and limit amount of buyers...In Los Angeles you should get at least 45k or hair ore for that mileage and in mint cond.

$42k probably isn't too bad. '01's and '02's with slightly higher mileage are high $40k's or very low $50k's right now and will only drop further as we get into the winter months. So, $42k might be pretty decent.

I recently sold my 99 C2 cab for 42k. I think your price is a bit low, also take into consideration there are a glut of P cars coming off lease with low mileage and maybe more desirable color combos.

I'd say that's not a bad price... If you found a buyer then take it!

I just bought mine recently from a big but not Porsche dealership, so no warranty. But I paid 49k for a Artic Silver with Graphite Gray C2 Cab. It was a 2000 with 29,xxx miles. Dunno if that really helps you or not. Actually did I pay too much?

Should I relist it on ebay? Any other ideas of good places to get exposure?
I feel the longer I wait the less it will be worth as we get closer to winter....

Thanks
Jeff

My brother just sold his 99 C2 for $34,500. It was Silver/Boxster Red with 37,000 miles; awesome shape; all services up to date.

SgtPepper, you didn't say where your uncle lived.
996's will be cheap from now to April. I went through this last year. $34.5 for an Arctic Silver 99 with 37k miles in great shape is a screaming buy in August/early September in Oregon. But I notice all New York luxury cars are cheaper than west coast cars on ebay/autotrader.
Take the $42K and start a lonely hearts club band !

Haha lex. My uncle and the car are both in a burb of denver colorado.
Im starting to think it might be the wise decision to take the offer - or at least tell my uncle that it might be. I feel if he waits until next spring prices will drop even further. Am I correct?

Thanks for all the input,
Jeff
