Would anyone know how I could possibly find technical information on how to remove the front hood latch, as well as the door sil. I would like to replace them with knew ones that I just got on ebay. I have a 2000 c2.

Are you talking about the "Carrera" scripted sill? If so it is held on by double sided tape and pulls off. Dental Floss can help in its removal and you will need some good adhesive remover to remove the remaining tap residue to prep for the application of the new sill.

Sorry I can't help with the front latch. Have you removed the plastic surround?

 

the inner sill with release buttons and seat memory; start at outer ends and pry up , it has plastic expander studs with small teeth, like old door panels. it pushes in and pulls out.

 

On the inner sill I've removed, there are two little caps which you remove and underneath are size five allens. You may have to push the carpet out of the way to reach the allen bolts. A short allen wrench will work. Loosening these will make removal much easier.
