Default Am I Getting A Good Deal?

Hey guys, just about to buy my first porsche. I've decided on the '05 C4S with the following options:

Park Assist
PCM
Heated Seats
Aerokit
BiXenon Lights
Bose Sound System
6 Disc CD Changer

The Dealer said the best price he could give me was $5000 off MSRP. I suspect he could do a little better but I won't know cuz I don't know the invoice price of the C4S (I live in Canada. I've tried searching everywhere but haven't been successful). Would you guys say I'm getting an okay deal? Or would I be able to negotiate a better deal? Also are there any other "Must have" options I should get for the car? Thanks for all your help! Hope I can order my car soon and have it when spring comes along!

Drop the park assist and get add the x51 option if you can afford it.
I would say that is ok deal your getting. You could pick up a year or two older model C4S with low km and save a lot more money.

The diff between invoice and the retail is about $10-12K (USD).

What dealer are you using? I would do what jumper recommends and at least look for low mileage cars and let the dealer know, there a bunch in Toronto, I just got an '02 C4S w/ 13k on it, great deals to be had if you don't mind being the second guy to drive it...I like saving the $40k for other things

Thanks for the help guys.. really appreciate it.

carbon_00, I'm based in Vancouver, British Columbia. There's only 1 authorized porsche dealer here. However, I know the sales director at a bmw dealership and he is helping me order the car. I wish I can find a 02 or 03 c4s.. but that is really rare! I've been searching the classifieds and dealerships for over two month now.. So I guess I really don't have too many options

Drop the park assist. If you can't park a car this small, then you shouldn't be buying one!!!!!!!!!!!

The 6 disc changes is also a waste of $$$$. You'll never change them! I speak from experience.

I'd shoot for 4-6% off invoice for your car. I don't know you the $5K off invoice relates to this figure for you, look it up!
