Help w/996 purchase in Southhampton, NY
Hello all,
A friend of mine is looking at a 996 cab at Storms Motors. Does anyone know this dealership? Good/Bad?
Also would anyone be available to check out the car with her tomorrow?

I know Storms having bought my first Porsche from them in 1999, a C2 cab and they are reputable although your friend is not going to get any bargains from them because they have a very small allocation from Porsche. I bought my 2nd Porsche, an '02 cab from Manhattan Motors, which gave me a better deal. This car sounds like something they have in the showroom since it's so loaded with options. Maybe they will deal since the 997's are on the way. I will say that they have an excellent service department which I have used expressly since 1999. I have a weekend house in Amagansett, about 20 mi. from Storms. I might be available to help your friend. Right now (6p.m.) I'm in NYC at (212) 362-7682.
