Default Installed the 5 mm spacers

Here is a spacer with the two screws that attach it to the hub:

Here is a comparison of the stock vs. GT3 (?) bolt included with the kit. Notice the shorter head on the GT3 bolt.

Obviously 5 mm is not much, but I do like the look of the subtle increase in the track. Hopefully, I can dial out more understeer on my next alignment because my 40th handles no wear near as nice as my Box S did. Next on the list is a Fabspeed exhaust to take 25 lbs off the rear of the car.

changing the scrub radius with spacers can actually have a deleterious effect on handling--the opposite of what your goal is. adding negative camber is the accepted way of dialing-out understeer.
but if that 'look' is what you're after, then mission accomplished.

I know the 'scrub' is a valid point (to a point ).....but just have to add that I've been messing w/offsets on 911s for some time, starting w/ the 993, and granted I change alot of other things on my suspensions, but if I thought I was sacrificing lots in handling (or anything on the track), I would have pulled it in.

Well, I put 14mm front and 7mm rear, plus max camber on the stock suspension and it handles beautifully at the track!

I wonder at what point increasing track starts to degrade handling?

Wink I did say subtle

Here's some daytime pics:

Is it also true you can damage the wheel bearings by putting too large a spacer on? I am hoping that I can get -1.0 on the front during the next alignment, as I am at -0.8 now.

Also to decrease understeer, do I ask for toe-in or toe-out. I would guess toe-out?
