Question Any problems with EVOMS upgrades?

Anyone have any prob's with EVOMS upgrades? I know there are prob's that can happen when pushing the performance envelope of sportscars and that's the nature of things, but I just wanna hear if anyone has been disappointed in any way with their upgrades. I've seen plenty of marketing info and mag articles, but real-world long-term results are what I'm looking for. When I phoned them months ago, to ask about how track-worthy the SC systems were and how much torture testing was done, I was told there hadn't been any significant long-term high-stress/temp testing yet, so I dropped the upgrade idea altogether not wanting to be a beta tester of sorts.

I'm interested in both the SC upgrades and the turbo conversions and upgrades for both 993 and 996.

I have a 993 currently, but will also get a 996 and upgrade it in the future, so I want to look before I leap. Thanks for any input and guidance. And, by all means, be discreet and PM me if you have something that's not fair to post here. No need to discredit anyone, just share experiences fairly please.

Thanks!

I have the Supercharger and so far no issues. One track day down and one coming up.

Getting the SC is on my big wish list! I'm going to be building a home over the next larger part of a year and when I'm done I'm selling my backhoe. There's the $$ for it! At least that is how I'm justifying it to my wife...

I HAVE INSTALLED APPROX.10 UPGRADES ON 996TT CARS(RANGING FROM A STAGE 2 TO THE STAGE 4GT HAVE NOT HAD ANY RELIABILITY ISSUES)OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS.I HAVE ONLY DONE 2 N/A UPGRADES.I HAVE NOT INSTALLED A S/C YET BUT HAVE TALKED TO A GENTLEMAN WHO HAD IT DONE BY A TECH I KNOW AND HE WAS THRILLED WITH IT.IN MY OPINION TAKE THE PLUNGE AND GET THE UPGRADE THAT YOU CAN AFFORD.

One problem I know of, is the registration in California. Apparently, the SC'd car will not pass.

Just got in contact with Todd and their SC'ed car is going into CARB Testing later this month. They are hoping to get CARB Certified by years end and that will cover all SC's sold to date.

Hammer: WHAT'S WITH THE CAPS MAN???

I've got too many EVO bits on my car lol It actually works out to be quite a bit cheaper than the European tuners out there.
