Default Paintless Dent Removal - LA Area

Any good recommendations for the LA / Westside area?

I'm open to any that come to work/home or one that I can bring my cars in to have 1-2 door dents taken out.

Thanks -

Rio

I had some pretty nasty dents on my Boxster which I tried to have taken out and the remote guy couldn't do it. When I was at the Auto Gallery they said they had a guy who was good - and sure enough, he got the dents out. Check with Don in service.

I have used several, and the best by far is Dent Brothers Inc. Call Francisco Garcia at 949-933-6598. This guy is an ARTIST! I have used him four times already.

He charges around $75 each dent, but he usually charges me about $150 for three. Everytime I call him out, he shows me dents that I didn't even know were there, but of course once you know they're there, you gotta get them out. Seriously, the guy is amazing. Give him a call. He's usually out in Hollywood once a week and he'll just come over the hill to meet you anywhere. He's totally mobile.

I should add that I let him drill a hole near the door lock (on each side) so that he could remove dents over the rear fenders. He paints over the bare metal and then puts in plastic plugs. Hardly noticeable really.

I've also used Dent Wizard in the South Bay. Tommy is the guy to talk to. He's done my C4S and TT. Someone put a huge ding in my wife's Mini near the right rear fender where it curves. It took some doing and alot of time but it is perfect again. I highly recommend.

Before I make an appointment and waste the poor guy's time, do you think this dent could be repaired?

I know the paint is gone, but maybe if I can get rid of the dent it won't look so bad.

Well, I don't know if he can get it all out, but he can definitely make a big improvement.

none that I know of do paintwook -- your car looks like the paint is broken. I had a 4 inch dent with no paint damage -- looked like a kids bike handle -- taken out. I have also had a few removed when the paint is broken -- you then use touch-up paint.

It also looks like you have damage around the side light. It all depends on what you want in the end.

Anyone ever had a dent removed from the area that is covered with stone guard? I have a couple of very small dents down in that area that I'd like to take care of without removing the stone gaurd. My experience is that once removed it never looks the same?....Not to mention repainting, etc.

Comments?

I think that's doable. I can't speak for all PDR companies but the one I used had special tools to get behind the panel and push the dings out (instead of using magnets on the front surface to pull the dings out). So depending on where the dings are they can probably get behind it and push it out without having to touch the stone guards.
