Default Finally finished the video

Finally, now that I had some more "free time" these past weeks (thanks to my right hand/arm being in a cast due to an "incident" at the track with the bike) I finished editing a fun action video about the 911 (and the GSX-R1000 and the Raptor SportQuad)

Its 16min long and managed to shrink it down to 85MB, and its on windows video format (wmv) so you don't need any codecs to view it.

I was curious as to how a match box sized camera (that I plugged in to a small SONY digital videorecorder in a fanny pack) placed at some interesting "subjective" views on the vehicles would look, my intention was to give the feeling of being close to the vehicles and the action when watching it, and transmit what these vehicles do for us speed junkies.
I added some laid back, and sometimes comical, "homemade amateur" editing, a varied soundtrack list and its done.

Hope you guys like it, I had fun doing it a bit here and bit there when time permited.

Carlos,

You need to find another server -- the one you're on is giving me about 7kB/sec downloads on a broadband DSL line. It would take many hours to finish downloading.

Very, there are lots mountain roads, good quality non congested high-speed highways, and avoidable speed radars

Carlos,

Great video. It was worth the nearly 2 hour download time. (I stayed up until almost 1 AM to watch it!). Loved the segue from Julie Andrews to Disturbed at the beginning of the 4-wheeler section.

Default Other site to place the video...

Amigo Carlos-
It's a bummer not being able to download this video, it's just WAY to slow ... And I'm sure it's great!

Could you perhaps post it on "Fastdrive.org". This site caters to hosting cool motorsports & enthusiast videos, and has good download speeds.

Cheers.

Gracias!

Odd, I'm getting about 31KB/sec.

OK, I finally got it downloaded! For some reason, the server was running much faster last night, giving me about 29-30 kB, which I can live with.

Great video, Carlos! Nice roads, great scenery, good music, and fun vehicles. What more could you want?

=Carlos=

P.S. Also, there was some pretty neat editing in there -- puts a lot of the other home videos I've seen to shame.
