PCM 1 Hell - upgrade path = console & speaker delete
So I have a problem with my PCM 1 on my slicktop x50 turbo track car. I predominantly use the car for track driving.
PCM Problem: a) CD changer sometimes skips songs b) no AUX input available. After months of research I have the following options;
1. PCCM+ (given my car is a non MOST, there are static / hissing issues)
2. Install a aftermarket radio (don't like this as it would require a new amp, cables to be changed etc.)
3. Install a Bluetooth module for 300EUR (problem is again hissing / static on low volume.)
4. Install a CDR 32/22 but they are expensive and don't want to pay for a 20 year old cd player.
5. (preferred) I have a GT3 center console delete kit. So I would remove the BOSE subwoofer / amp / cd changer / speakers. Pack them nicely in a box for the future owner should he/she wish to install the original equipment, additionally all of this would be reversible. When I drive to the track, because of the CD changer issues I anyways end up using Airpods. I will probably remove 30-40 pounds in the process.
Am I crazy or makes sense ?

the rca’s on the second plug are not used. Just the single remote turn on wire is. Additionally the first plug provides all the speaker signals from the aftermarket radio to the factory amp.
