IPAS codes for programming new key remote?
Hi folks!
I just got a 2002 996 C4S that is turning out to be a bit of a project. The car has both original keys but neither of the remotes work (even though the LEDs on the remotes light up at button press). I can unlock the car with the cut keys and the car starts up just fine, so the RFID pills seem to be working fine.
I've tried reversing the battery and pressing the unlock button right after unlocking the car or after starting the car (as instructed in the Bentley book) but no luck.
The car came with a brand new key head with the tag and code on it that I'm considering programming into the car instead. Will I need the IPAS codes to do with a PIWIS III?
