Question 996 Millinnium Edition

I have an opportunity to buy an 8000 mile 2000 Millinnium Edition 911 from an estate. What is the value of this car? Also, what extras does the Millinnium Edition have? Thanks.

He's asking about the 2000 Millenium edition not the 2004 Anniversary edition.

Default Mille

I owned a Mille before buying my Anniversary Car this past year. The Mille is based on a C4, but did not have any "performance" features as part of its rather extensive option package. It was more geared for luxury. Unique paint, an attractive natural brown full leather interior with wood accents, PCM, PSM, 18" polished turbo wheels, heated seats, etc. As I recall, the cars MSRP's at $90k, and I sold mine for $70k in 2002. Today, I think most are trading hands in the low to mid 50s, although I've seen some even lower. I'm not sure the Mille package truly adds much value, but it does make for a unique C4. With the 300 hp engine, the factory said 0-60 in 5.2, and the awd can be a good feature depending on your needs.
They were pretty nice cars, in my opinion, not track stars, just great drivers. Some people however were turned off by the viola chromaflair paint. I guess that's why the next "limited edition" 996 was silver, with an X-51 engine to upgrade performance somewhat.

I just saw a 2000 Millenium with 5,500 miles sold for $54,300.
