My car's passenger side mirror used to tilt down when I put the gear in reverse, but now it doesn't do that anymore. I tried to reset the memory by putting the gear in reverse and pressing the M+1 to no avail. It still moves with the side mirror control on the door. Does anyone know if I missed anything?

check your fuses ? might be a seperate one for the reverse control

make sure the little button to select which mirror you want to adjust is NOT in the right position, if so, it will disable this feature

I went to the dealer and had them activate the mirror feature and it worked for about 500 miles and then quit. Haven't had a chance to chase it yet. Please post what you find.

thats part of Porsche standard operating procedure,

it is to get you back into the dealership to:

1. repair it again.
2. see another mod that you want to do and buy more parts!

On my '01 C2, I have found that my mirror tilt quits after a new memory setting. I can 'reactivate' it by putting the car in R and pressing M.
