You painted the concrete ledge, right?. I also placed my tiles in 2'x 2' squares. I felt 1' x 1' was a little too busy. A word of caution. When pulling into the garage, stop gently, fast stops will slide the tiles. Looking forward to pix. Good Luck.

Tom:

One more quick question. THe instructions on the adhesive says to spread it then allow to dry for 30 min or until slightly tacky. This will significantly sloww down the laying process. What did you do? Lay down the adhesive and go? I think that is where I will go with that.

No, do what the directions say. What I did was snapped a chalk line down the center and one 90 degrees on that (that divided the garage into quarters). Spread the adhesive in one of the quarters and let it set up, (it will go from opaque to clear) it will stay tacky for a LONG time so you don't have to rush. Laying the tiles will go quickly.

Cool. Was there an issue with walking on the adhesive to get to the back corner to start laying tile?

And once again your advise has been invaluable.

Start from the center of the garage and work out.
