Spoiler slightly crooked...
Hey 996ers,
I noticed my rear spoiler was a little bit popped up on the driver side (left) compared to the right, meaning there is a larger gap between the spoiler and the engine cover on the dirver side. The spoiler operates normally and my only guess is: It sat under the sun for a week when it was in the workshop. Could the heat cause the spoiler panel to slightly bend?
How can I restore it at this point?
Right
Left: larger gap
Thanks ahead for any advice

There is an adjustment to the teatray you can do. Remove the louvre panel and take stock of how the plastic teatray (the black, motorized plastic frame) connects to the steel decklid.
- 2 hinges near the front edge held on by 2 screws each
- 2 struts at the rear corners held on by 2 screws each
With the louvre panel off, you can (with the teatray all the way down) loosen all 8 screws and do your best to align the teatray the way you like it. Then carefully snug down the 4 front screws, the 4 rears, and tighten everything taking care not to accidentally shift a bolt. I was able to get the teatray to actually go lower than stock, a requirement for my 3D printed spoiler (wasn't designed exactly right lol).
