Moving from Tip to M6 in my 2003 4S. Will a model year 2002 C4 cluster work in an 03? The part number given for the replacement (
99664198076) doesn't show up as a valid part number. Since I cant look up my number I'm hoping someone can point me in the correct direction. From my reading so far any 2002-2005 6MT should work, even though I'll have to reprogram the unit with VIN and mileage.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Ask e30rapidec, he is a wizard and very knowledgeable about this . He can probably tell you but my guess is it should work. A lot of it is documented in his C4s thread. Did you see that?

 

Thanks, yes I actually have his schematics printed out. He wa given a huge cluster because he had the same issue I'm having. For.mr it's just not being able to tell if anno2 cluster will work in an 03.
