997 Rims on a 996

I purchased a 2003 996 that has 19" rims on it. The rear rims are 11 X 67 and the front rims are 8 X 57. Currently, the tires in the front are 235/35R19 with a 5mm spacer and the rears are 305/30R19. I would like to know if these are the correct tire sizes that would be similar to the tires on the 18" rims. Also, interested to know if 18" rims with the Porsche recommended tire sizes are going to make a noticeable driving difference. Thanks.

Tyre width and outer diameter increased going from 996 to 997.

I have PS4S on the 19’s. They grip like a ****. 19 ok for me on street. Track 19’s a hard pass. For my eye most 19’s look too large for a 996 narrow body.

I have 997's (19") on my 996 C4 and love the look. Is your car AWD? If so, there is a process of making sure your rotational circumference (F&R) is within 3% otherwise you risk heating up the differential. I personally like how the larger wheel fills the wheel well better than the 18" but thats my personal opinion. As for performance, you won't feel any difference on acceleration as it's virtually unnoticeable between both rims size on the street....different on the track from a handling perspective but if you're only driving on the street you won't notice any difference.
