Im looking to replace the four holder cassette section in the center console of my 99 Carrera 4. Looking for just a little extra storage. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The AS console was factory option, as was the alum **** and handle; the shelves; batwing; and fuse box cover all on eBay, along with other AS pieces.

Don W,
I went to your site, nice ride! Are the Silver Crests on your seat backs the same as the hood? If so, how did you mount them? Did you have to cut off the mounting arms? I like the look and want to do the same.

Garvey, these are stock silver hood crests. You don't have to cut the studs off. If you have the coathooks on the back of your seats just remove them with that one screw and there is enough space to insert the crest. I just used some glue around the edges.

Ziggy -
You can get them from Sunset Porsche in Portland, OR for cost +%15 + shipping. Those guys are great to deal with. Their number is: (800) 346-0182.
You can install it yourself. The storage unit comes straight out with a gentle tug and the new one just slides in.

There are several manufacturers of alum. pedals. I have the RUF ones (expensive), but Gert at www.carnewal.com sells ones that look just like RUF w/o the RUF trademark.
If you take a look down the list of sponsors many of them sell different ones....and I'm sure you'll get some answers here as well.
Not a very good pic of all pedals![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Not at all... ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Re tips: Choose whether silver or gold crest will look best. Try and get them on Ebay 'cause you don't need the fasteners nor the gasket that usually comes with the hood crests.
Remove the coathooks if you have them. THe crest fits right in w/o cutting the studs. I used a little glue around the outside.
If you don't have coathooks then you'll have to cut off the studs and sand/file the back smooth berfore mounting.
Good luck.
Don
