What is the rarest most hard to find model of the Carreras? Obviously, 911 turbo, gt2 and gt3 but i mean amonst C2, C4, C$S Cabs Etc. Just wondering and dind't know where to look.

2004 C4 Cabs, narrowbody, would be the rarest in my guess.

I have an '02 C4 Cab, narrowbody. Are these really that rare? Or is it just the '04 model?

As Per Porsche Website The Targa is the least made of the 996 Platform - 129 per year...

 

I agree - the Targa has got to be the rarest model in recent years. Not sure why, but the sales figures support that.

Due to the C4S cab being so popular, the 04 c4 cab was made in very limited quantity. The 996 targa as a whole was also limited production

A little hard to read since the columns don't line up but I think you can figure it out. (The third and fourth numbers for each model are 2002 and 2001 totals, respectively.)

 

so according to those numbers, the C4 coupe is the rarest, (except the GT2), even less were made than the targa!

Tool Pants, what's the story on that car? Is it just a very "special wish" that someone paid the factory dearly for? Looks like it has the C4S rear light bar with turbo tail decklid (never seen that before) and GT2 front bumper as well.
