Talking Picked it up yesterday!

Sold the Boxster and picked up my new 996 C4 Cab yesterday! It's an 01 Silver with a blue top and interior, 4500 miles and "as new" Wow, what a huge difference between the the Boxster S and the 996. Not that there was anything wrong with a Boxster but this 996 is really sure footed and solid on the road. I drove it 120 miles back from PA yesterday with the top down on one of the best days of the year, 75 degrees without a cloud in the sky. Today it get's the clay bar and Zaino detailing job, I'll post pics later. This forum gave me the necessary insight before buying this car. Yes, the beauty of the internet and all of you folks!

Hey Bob - congratulations!

Yes, yesterday was the perfect day for a drive in our area and a fantastic day to pick up a shiny new Porsche. Does life get any better...?

Sounds good to me - I took a ride through there yesterday just to try the car out. Fantastic!

And if I don't see you there in the car maybe I'll bring the bike along!

OK...so we have Bob, Riad, another chap that lives in Wyckoff and me all set for a nice drive to Bear Mtn one day...

Can't make it next weekend - July 4th or July 11th look to be the best options in the near future. Anyone up for a quick Independance Day ride?

Guess I'm technically challenged. My pics are jpe and should be jpeg or jpg. I'll have to play with the resizing I guess. I love the digital world.
