Hey Kirby:
You gotta turn down the resolution of your marvelous photos. they take forever to load, even with broadband! Try running them thru the "save for web" function of PS and make their size no bigger than 800x800.

What kind of tiles are those? I need to do something in my garage because the concrete gets very dangerous when wet and since we are in Chicago, that means salt, slush, snow and other wet stuff on the ground. Does it get slick when wet? How about the maintanence and cleanup.
The tiles will hold up to water so you can drive on them any time. I put on several coats of floor wax to keep them clean. Some tire compounds can stain the tiles so I put a piece of clear plastic under each tire (roll the car onto them) if I don’t plan on driving the car for a while. If they do stain, I just strip the wax and put down another coat. The tiles have been down for about five years with no problems. They will not crack if tools are dropped but may dent if a heavy concentrated weight is placed on them. For example a floor jack if lifting a car. I usually put plywood under the jack to prevent this from happening.
Also, They can be slippery when wet.

Kirby:
It loaded much faster. The save for web function will take a JPEG and reduce its size by as much as 60% with no resolution loss. Now all you have to do is make the photo smaller. The way i do it is 1st make the image 800x600 (Image ->Image size) , then save for web.
See how much faster it loads:
And you can see the whole thing without having to scroll left and right!

not such great pics since they're more of the car than the garage, but you get the idea. i live in a condo and the entire basement is a garage. i'm selling it in the next month or so and looking to get my own garage!

Actually, I believe some Canadians marched down and burnt down what, at the time, was the pink house...painted white after the fire.
