Driven Racing Deal
In my experience they refund your credit card unless a significant time has passed (on the order of months since the more recent purchase). Or least that's how it was last time I went thru the process. Generally if I've stocked up on parts for planned work over the winter, those returns result in store credit. If I've ordered, completed the work, and returned within the month, that's come as a CC refund.
These updates will be going into effect on 11/01/2022:
- All Lifetime Replacement Guarantee refunds will be issued as store credit
- On orders placed before 11/01/2022, the original Lifetime Replacement Guarantee policy will still be in effect. Those returns will default to credit but can be converted to cash refunds on request by emailing service@fcpeuro.com
- Refunds will be for the price of the original part purchased
- Example 1: You purchased brake pads for $50.00 in 2020. Those same brake pads now cost $55.00. You will be credited $50 at the time of completion.
- Example 2: You purchased an oil change kit for $60.00 in 2020. That same oil change kit now costs $48.00. You will be credited $60 at the time of completion.
Depends on when you bought it originally if you get store credit or if it is refunded to your credit card. They also refund you whatever the purchase price was the last time you bought it. As an example, the first time I purchased SRF from them, it was $82. The last time I bought it, it was $92 (I think). When I sent back, I was refunded the higher price paid. I have had over $4K worth of stuff either refunded or credited this year (I spend a lot of time at the track), so I am very familiar with how it works. Not sure why someone (who will be changing their oil regularly) would buy it from any place else.

This goes against my experience. At least since they changed to the policy last year is as described in my post above.
It was taken from their site.
I cut back and only did 21 track days last year. I wish they sold PFC pads.
