Default Just installed Kenwood 2-din nav - some pictures

I've just installed the Kenwood head unit DDX-7025 (this a 7015 in America) and it is brilliant. Excellent sound, plays DVDs, brilliant DVD based navigation and direct connection to the Music Keg hard disk storage device.

Here's a piccy:

I just had the same system installed on my TT. Works really well. I installed the Microphone/Voice Switch at the same time.

Wow! That looks great. Could you please tell me what parts are needed to move the climate controls to the location below the CD storage box. Thanks.

Stanmo,

All you need is the bezel piece - I can find out the part number for you later, and two little clips that fix the bezel to the climate controls. The hardest part is routing the cable, but it is not that difficult at all. Start to finish it took me about 30 mins to move the climate controls with no prior knowledge.

The other graet thing about this unit is that you can still play CDs through its slot loader (as well as DVDs and MP3/WMA CDs) for convenience. The front slides open - very cool.

Eli,

How do you mean did I have a hard time with nav? Do you mean installing it or using it?

Kevin,

The surround piece comes with the head unit, but I made a piece up to fit underneath it as the opening is slightly bigger than 2-din.
