Default Momo mod 07 grip diameter question

I’m looking to buying a steering wheel to improve the haptics. I prefer thinner gripped wheels (my factory 4 spoke I s about 29mm), and I prefer suede. Does anyone have the grip measurement of their suede momo mod 07? Pictures suggest it is a bit thicc. Thanks!

Yes, for some reason I had low confidence with that number, figured someone had a caliper that could measure it. Both the suede and leather appear To be thicker than my factory wheel.

OK I went down and measured mine .

29.5 front to back and 28.5 side to side. My factory 3 spoke is 31.5.

Suede 2 years old and 50 track days of use. I typically believe manufacturers know what they are selling.

Happy to help.

Boom! You’re the man! I lost confidence in it because not every manufacturer lists grip diameter, and I’ve seen it listed 29x30 and 30x29, with no neat diagram of what they’re measuring. I knew the brain trust could help clear it up!

I just installed a Porsche branded momo... i found it small in the hand as far as feel goes, and by small i mean in diameter and in thickness of the rim of the steering wheel, i really like the look, and it seems like it moves the steering wheel away from me, all this compared to the factory 3 spoke in leather.

I used the NRG short hub which factors into the position compared to say the momo hub, which i did not try.. i used the NRG because it retains the use of the factory clockspring and therefore the turn signals and horn work.... i have read of those using other hubs can have horn issues Toot Toot!!!

toot, toot...............toot.
I THINK I finally have my MOMO hub/horn fixed.
Other than the horn problems, I LOVE my MOMO Prototypo!
The feel is SO much better than the factory steering wheel.
That, combined with the 997 GT3 shifter and Function First shift **** makes my 996 feel SO much better.

I would rather make a separate button for the horn than go back to the factory steering wheel.
