They are essentially two different kits. The three chain engines don't need the hold downs and use a tool to rotate the cam from the chain side. That makes them less expensive.

Yelcab prefers to lock the cam on a 5 chain engine with the tool from this kit rather than use the tool that allows you to rotate it into position.

My bad as I forgot that I had to buy a separate kit for the cam lock tools. Got it on eBay and it worked well.

Ebay kit worked just fine. used it on my vario-cam actuator replacment.
