Default European Parts Solution IMS install tool

Any one have the EPS IMS installation tool I can borrow? If so will this tool also remove the LN single row retrofit bearing currently in?

Their tool will not remove any LN bearing.

If you want to replace it with a roller bearing, we do offer the RND RS Roller IMS Bearing with free tool rental (which includes the adapter to pull the LN bearing as well as the optional RMS tool as well):

Charles

I have a 2004 c4s with the single row retrofit that is overdue for replacement. I was planning on replacing it with the single row Pro but I’ve noticed the price had gone up to $900+ even on the ebay store. If I am remembering correctly they were $600+. I may be remembering wrong. RND is for ‘97-01 correct? With that said the EPS seemed more of an affordable option.

The RND cylindrical roller bearing kit is available for both models with single and dual row bearings.

Sales volume has increased on these kits and that has allowed us to buy bearings in higher quantiles, so that let us drop the price significantly. As long as that holds up, we should be able to continue to offer them at the new lower price.

The RND was developed for SSF auto parts in single and double row.
I just got confused because of the Pro and then the Solution. So many to choose from.

Yes, those will need to be replaced when removed.
