I appreciate all the comments. I called Lojack and they will sell the unit directly to me because I bought the car out of state (non-Lojack area). Otherwise, they indicated the dealer sells the unit with the Lojack folks doing the installation.
Any thoughts on the GPS systems?

That tracking device doesn't provide real-time tracking. The link I should have posted was to this device, though I noticed it requires a high monthly monitoring fee.

I've heard that thieves (at least the high tech ones) have a little box that will block the RF transmissions from the lo jack.
As far as GPS, since you have an 04, you have the fiber optic MOST bus system, so you can't just add a new head unti or what have you. On the up side, you can retro-fit the PCM2 Porsche nav system. If you're looking for a hand-held/dash-top unit, I've read that Garmin's are great....
